Assembled on television, tested on tour

The six members came out of SM Entertainment’s trainee programme and the 2023 reality series NCT Universe: LASTART, where the line-up was decided in public. Then, before their official debut on 21 February 2024, they played a pre-debut tour of 24 shows across nine Japanese cities. Groups normally debut and then earn a tour. This one did it in reverse, which tells you where the company expected the audience to be.

“COLOR” leads the third mini album of the same name, published 1 September 2025 through SM Entertainment’s SMTOWN channel. Four more NCT WISH videos are posted on this board, covering the Japanese mini album WISHLIST and the 2026 full-length Ode to Love.
