ITZY’s “ROCK & ROLL” went up on the group’s Japanese YouTube channel on the day their second Japanese album arrived. The upload sits inside a busy week: the record on the 8th, and three nights in Tokyo three days later.

A fan meeting is not a concert

Korean groups run two separate kinds of event, and the industry keeps them strictly apart. A tour is a concert — a full set, open ticketing, big production. A 팬미팅 (fan meeting) is shorter, usually built around talk segments, games and a handful of songs, and tickets are weighted heavily towards paid fan club members. Because it needs less staging, a fan meeting can be scheduled at short notice and slotted between album cycles, which makes it the standard way to hold a market’s attention without mounting a tour. The event named in this release’s notes is ITZY’s fourth, held at Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo on 11–13 October 2025.

About this release

“ROCK & ROLL” comes from 『Collector』, ITZY’s second Japanese album, released on 8 October 2025. The group debuted in Korea in February 2019 under JYP Entertainment and debuted in Japan in December 2021; their previous Japanese release listed in the official notes is the third single 『Algorhythm』 from May 2024.
