MiSO released the music video for “Spotlight” on her own YouTube channel, MISO_Official, on 23 October 2025. The credits list her under her full name, 김미소, as the song’s lyricist.

The challenge is planned before the song comes out

The keywords attached to this video include SpotlightChallenge and MiSOChallenge, and that is not an afterthought. Korean releases are now built with a short, repeatable section of choreography designed to be filmed vertically and posted by anyone — the “challenge”. Labels shoot their own version first, then send artists to appear in each other’s, so a single hook circulates through dozens of accounts in a fortnight. For a solo artist without a large agency behind her, the challenge is the cheapest distribution there is: it costs a phone, a wall and a few favours, and it reaches feeds that never open YouTube.

“Spotlight” was published on the MISO_Official channel, which also holds the copyright line, on 23 October 2025. The video was directed by 안효민. The composition is credited to 양재동작가들, a writing team named after Yangjae-dong in southern Seoul, and MiSO wrote the lyrics herself under the name 김미소.
