A word you will keep seeing: “comeback”

The official tags on this video include #StrayKidsComeback, and every K-pop release is announced the same way. It does not mean the group went away and returned. In the Korean industry a comeback is simply a new release with a full promotion cycle attached — concept photos, a music video, weeks of televised performances. Groups have two or three comebacks a year. If you have ever wondered why K-pop acts appear to be constantly returning from somewhere, that is why: the word never meant absence in the first place.

About this release

“Do It” leads the DO IT release, part of the group’s SKZ IT TAPE line, and JYP Entertainment issued a separate remix package alongside it. The other video from the same release, “신선놀음 (DIVINE),” is also posted on this board — that one is worth reading the title of before you watch.

Watching from outside Korea
