This video went up on JYP Entertainment’s channel for 눈에 거슬리고 싶어 (Eye-Poppin’), released alongside KickFlip’s fourth mini album My First Kick. The official description states the release moment down to the hour: 6PM KST.

Why Korean releases land at 6pm

Nearly every Korean single, album and music video arrives at 6pm Korea Standard Time, and the description here states the hour rather than just the date. It was not always the convention: midnight releases were common until the late 2010s, when streaming services reworked their real-time charts and the industry converged on the evening slot instead. Six o’clock lands at the end of the Korean working day, gives a record a full evening before the next morning’s chart tallies, and lets an agency schedule broadcast promotion around a fixed, predictable moment. Fans plan the same way.

About this release

My First Kick is KickFlip’s fourth mini album, published on 6 April 2026 through JYP Entertainment, with 눈에 거슬리고 싶어 (Eye-Poppin’) as the accompanying music video. The official description carries no producer or writing credits — only the release time, a streaming link and the hashtags #KickFlip, #킥플립 and #My_First_Kick.

Watching from outside Korea

6pm KST falls at 10am in the UK and 5am on the US east coast during April. If you follow releases as they happen, that hour is close to universal here, so most Korean videos you wait for will appear at the same time of day.
