This is a three-group collaboration released through HYBE LABELS, bringing LE SSERAFIM, ILLIT and KATSEYE together on a single track. All three groups sit under the same corporate parent, which is what makes a line-up like this possible at all.

When labels under one roof share a song

Collaborations between K-pop groups from different companies are rare, because each side has to agree on scheduling, revenue splits and how the recording is credited. Within a single corporate group the negotiation is internal, so multi-group tracks tend to appear between labels that already share an owner. LE SSERAFIM, ILLIT and KATSEYE each operate under their own label banner with separate staff, creative direction and release calendars — they are not one roster. What they share is a parent company, and that shared ownership is the practical reason three girl groups can appear on the same release without a lengthy inter-agency contract.

About this release

“ICONIC BY MISTAKE” is a joint single credited to LE SSERAFIM, ILLIT and KATSEYE, issued via HYBE LABELS. The official description gives a release time of 12 June, 1PM KST, with the video published on 10 June 2026. The music video was directed by Cody Critcheloe, with visual creative work credited to Gabriel Cho, Yoon Cho and Chansol Bok.

Watching from outside Korea

Note the two clocks in the description: Korean releases are announced in KST first, with ET and PT times added underneath. If you follow more than one of these three groups, each has its own separate channel and schedule — this shared upload is the exception, not the pattern.
