Producers with their own names

Korean pop has a long habit of putting the producer’s name in the title, and audiences follow them the way they follow artists. Hitchhiker is one of the recognisable ones — an electronic producer whose work carries a distinct signature rather than disappearing behind the singer. Elsewhere in pop, production credits are buried in liner notes; here they are marketing, because a share of listeners will click on a producer’s name alone.
