The album and its title track share a name

This EP is called “CRASH” and so is the song leading it. Korean labels do this often enough that fans read nothing unusual into it, but it carries a practical consequence: for the whole promotion period, one word does both jobs. Broadcast captions, chart rows, streaming playlists and shop listings all show the same string, so the record and the single reinforce each other every time either appears. The alternative — an album title distinct from every track on it — splits that attention. A self-titled lead track is the cheapest way to make a release legible to people encountering it once.
