X:IN have released ZZIRIT, a track credited to the group with the Brazilian singer Luísa Sonza featured. It is the latest release from a line-up that, since its 2023 debut, has been assembled differently from most Korean girl groups.

Why agencies recruit members abroad

X:IN’s membership includes performers who grew up outside East Asia, which remains rare. Multinational casting itself is not new — Korean labels have taken Chinese, Japanese and Thai trainees for two decades — but the reasoning is practical rather than decorative. A member who speaks a market’s language can handle interviews, variety appearances and social posts there without a translator, and listeners in that market get a direct point of entry. For a smaller agency, that kind of reach is cheaper to recruit than to advertise. The costs are visas, language training and a longer run-up to debut.

About this release

ZZIRIT was published on 6 October 2026 and carries the GENIE MUSIC copyright line. The featured artist is Luísa Sonza, an established Brazilian pop singer — an uncommon credit on a Korean release. The official description lists no producer or songwriting credits, giving only the title and the standard notice that views counted here feed Korean chart tallies.

Watching from outside Korea

The description points to Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube Music, so nothing here is tied to Korea-only services. If you want your play to register on domestic charts, though, it has to happen on the official upload rather than a reupload.
