MEOVV released the video for ‘GO HARD’ on 12 October 2026, posted on the channel of THEBLACKLABEL, the label that has handled the group since its debut in 2024. The title carries a Korean name alongside it — 미야오 — and that spelling is worth a second look.
야옹 is what a Korean cat actually says
Korean has its own word for the noise a cat makes, and it is not 미야오. A Korean cat says 야옹, and 야옹이 is the ordinary affectionate word for a cat, roughly where English uses “kitty”. 미야오 is a different thing: a syllable-by-syllable transliteration of the English “meow”, written in Hangul so Korean readers can pronounce the group’s English name. The Latin spelling then swaps the w for a doubled v. Hence the official hashtags on this video, which list both #MEOVV and #미야오 — two spellings of one imported sound, neither of them the native Korean one.
About this release
‘GO HARD’ was published on 12 October 2026 on THEBLACKLABEL’s channel, which also holds the copyright line for the upload. The official description runs to the title, the opening lines of the lyric and the campaign hashtags; no producer, writer or featured artist is credited there, and the video is posted simply as the M/V for the song.
Watching from outside Korea
If you want to read more, search both forms of the name. 미야오 pulls up Korean coverage and fan posts that MEOVV on its own will miss, and the doubled v is easy to mistype as a w. Copying the Hangul straight from the description is the safer route.
