Landing late in Korea: plan the last connection
A late flight needs a complete route to an accessible check-in point. Check the service date, last departure and accommodation reception arrangements before relying on public transport.
Work forward from the arrival hall
Allow for the steps between landing and reaching transport. Check the timetable for your actual terminal and direction; the final service at another terminal or station may not be yours. A route result for daytime travel is not evidence of a connection after midnight.
Resolve the date change
Write both the date and time of arrival. If your flight lands after midnight, ask the accommodation which booked night permits immediate check-in. Confirm how you will obtain a key if the desk is closed and which entrance to use. Do not assume a daytime luggage desk is a night reception.
Choose a fallback before you need it
Compare a later public service, a taxi from the designated airport area or a confirmed overnight stay. Check current availability and the full cost with the provider. Save the address and pickup instructions in Korean as well as your preferred language.
Keep the first morning flexible
