Is this attraction open? Check beyond the listing hours
Check the operator's current notice, the activity you intend to do and the date of the information. Regular opening hours can remain online after a temporary closure.
Identify the exact facility
An attraction name may refer to a large area containing several separately operated facilities. Decide whether you need the park, observatory, exhibition, boat or another paid activity. Check the facility's own information rather than treating the area's opening status as sufficient.
Compare dates and types of information
A regular timetable describes normal operation. A dated closure notice may change that timetable. Look for a current operator notice and read the date, affected activity and reopening information. An old travel article is useful background, but it is not proof of current access.
Treat uncertainty as a planning decision
