The title video from JENNIE’s Fallen Angel EP. At five minutes forty-two it runs closer to a short film than a promotional clip, and it carries a production disclaimer that is worth reading before you watch.

About this release

“FALLEN ANGEL” leads a digital EP of the same name, with a physical CD edition following. The release notes state plainly that every fire in the video was created in VFX, and that any scene involving minors was filmed in a supervised, safe environment — a clarification the team evidently expected to need, which tells you something about how the imagery reads.

Working outside the agency system

Jennie’s solo work now comes out through ODD ATELIER, the label she founded herself, rather than through the agency that manages BLACKPINK. That is rarer than it sounds. K-pop is built on agencies controlling artist output end to end; an active member of one of its biggest groups running a parallel label is close to unprecedented, and it is the reason her recent videos look less like a corporate rollout and more like an artist spending her own budget.
