데이로터스 (Daylotus) released “수라(修羅) (SURA)” through STONE MUSIC in October 2025, the act’s first single of that year. The official description states plainly where it came from: a webtoon.

Songs written from webtoons

Webtoons — vertically scrolling comics read on a phone — are one of Korea’s largest cultural exports, and music has grown up alongside them. Usually that means an OST commissioned by the platform to run with a series. This release works differently: the agency credits it as a song inspired by 현창호’s 『화화』, not as an official soundtrack. Korean writers often take that route, borrowing a premise or a title from a comic without a licensing deal attached. For readers, it makes the source worth looking up on its own terms.
