A first solo single from MIMI of OH MY GIRL — a group that has now been going for over a decade, which in this industry is close to geological time.

The girl group that kept going

OH MY GIRL debuted in 2015 and did something unusual: they got bigger slowly. Their early releases were pleasant and largely overlooked; the songs that made them a household name in Korea arrived years later, and several of them — the summer singles in particular — became the kind of track that plays in every convenience store from June to August. Most girl groups from their debut year no longer exist. Longevity in Korean pop is not the default outcome, and it usually comes from being liked rather than being hyped.

About this release

“Bish Bash Bosh” was published on 20 August 2026 through the OH MY GIRL channel as MIMI’s first single, and runs 3 minutes 40.
