K/DA, the virtual group Riot Games assembled from four League of Legends champions, is back with “FIRESTARTER”, sung by MIYEON and SOYEON of i-dle with Sophie Powers and Mimi Webb. It arrives on the League of Legends channel rather than through any of the artists’ own labels.

The members are permanent, the voices are cast

A virtual group splits the act from the people performing it. K/DA’s four members are game characters, so the lineup never ages, leaves or renegotiates a contract — what changes release to release is who gets hired to sing each part. MIYEON and SOYEON have been attached since the 2018 debut, which makes them the closest thing the project has to fixed members, while the remaining slots go to different guests each time: Madison Beer and Jaira Burns in 2018, Bea Miller and Wolftyla on 2020’s “THE BADDEST”, Sophie Powers and Mimi Webb here.

About this release

“FIRESTARTER” is a single published on 19 October 2026 (KST), ahead of an EP of the same name dated 21 October. The official description credits the video to a partnership with animation studio Fortiche and the choreography to Sean Bankhead. Listed lyricists include Georgia Ku, Aejin Kwon and Sebastien Najand, a longtime composer on Riot’s music output.

Watching from outside Korea

Because this sits on a game publisher’s channel, it bypasses the usual Korean release machinery — no music-show promotion, no label roll-out. If you follow MIYEON or SOYEON, track i-dle’s own releases separately; K/DA output does not appear there.
