MINNIE, a member of the Korean group i-dle, appears here under her own name on “to the moon :)”, a music video posted to the group’s channel on 23 October 2026. The credits list her as the sole lyricist and as one of three composers.

작사 and 작곡 are credited separately in Korea

Korean credit lines rarely say “written by”. They split the job into 작사 (lyrics), 작곡 (composition — melody and chord structure) and often 편곡 (arrangement), and each role is registered individually with KOMCA, the Korea Music Copyright Association, which administers royalties for its members. A work’s entry therefore names a different set of people per function, and shares are tracked by function rather than as one lump writing credit. On this posting 작곡 goes to three names and 작사 to MINNIE alone, which is worth noting in a field where outside lyricists are common.

About this release

“to the moon :)” was published on the i-dle channel on 23 October 2026 (KST), with rights held by CUBE Entertainment, the agency the group has been signed to since its 2018 debut. The official description credits composition to MINNIE, BreadBeat and TYTAN, lyrics to MINNIE, and carries the line “i love you to the moon and back”. No album or EP title is given.

Watching from outside Korea

The channel is listed as both i-dle and 아이들, so either spelling will find it in search. The hashtags under Korean uploads are a reliable way to reach a member’s other credits — 민니 is MINNIE’s name written in Hangul.
