RIIZE have released “Insomnia” as a new single, and this is the official video for it. The six-member group has been active since September 2023, and this track arrives on its own rather than as part of a titled album.

Two members moved here from another group at the same company

Shotaro and Sungchan were introduced in 2020 as members of NCT, SM Entertainment’s large group built around rotating units. In May 2023 the company announced both would leave NCT, and that September they debuted in RIIZE. This is rare: in Korean pop a performer’s debut group is normally permanent, and leaving one usually means leaving the industry or going solo. Because SM runs several groups under one roof, it can reassign a trainee or a debuted member internally instead, treating the roster as something the agency manages rather than something fixed at debut.

About this release

“Insomnia” is a single, published on 26 October 2026. The official description gives no songwriting or production credits. The copyright line names SM Entertainment as owner, under exclusive licence to RCA Records and Universal Music LLC, and the posting carries the group’s standing slogan hashtag alongside the song’s own tag.

Watching from outside Korea

Because the Western majors handle distribution, the single should appear on your local streaming service the same day as the video, under the English title. If subtitles were supplied, the YouTube captions menu will list them — check it before assuming there are none.
