The thick forests and slopes of Yongmunsan Mountain offer stunning views, attracting many visitors during the summer vacation period. Approximately 100m up from the valley's entrance is Hamwanghyeol Cave, associated with the legend of Hamwang, a fierce warlord from the Goryeo dynasty. Further up, the Buddhist Sanasa Temple can be found.

Samsung Transportation Museum (삼성화재 교통박물관)

Gyeonggido 171, Everland-ro 376beon-gil, Cheoin-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do Samsung Transportation Museum, the nation’s first automobile museum, is located near Everland. It serves as a children’s traffic safety learning space. The museum displays a collection of over 700 world-famous pieces including 50 cars, 15 motorcycles, bicycles, horse-drawn carriages, and other transportation-related articles such as vehicle prototypes, parts, hood ornaments, souvenirs, and artwork. There are many hands-on programs for visitors to learn about transportation safety.

Samsung Innovation Museum (삼성 이노베이션 뮤지엄)

Gyeonggido 129 Samsung-ro, Yeongtong-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do Samsung Innovation Museum is an electronic industrial museum run by Samsung, a major global company based in Korea. The museum mainly consists of three sections. Visitors can learn about the history of Korea's electronic industry, as well as the past, present and future of the semiconductor, display and mobile industries, where Samsung made great achievements. The museum also runs an education facility called Children's Display Research Institute.

Sammaksa Temple (삼막사)

Gyeonggido 478 Sammak-ro, Manan-gu, Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, Sammaksa Temple is a Buddhist temple located in Samseongsan Mountain. Legend has it that the temple was established in 667 by Wonhyo, a Buddhist philosopher from the Silla era. Within the temple grounds are Cheonbuljeon Hall, Yukgwaneumjeon Hall, Myeongbujeon Hall, Manghaeru Pavilion, Chilbogak House, among others. The temple holds heritages like the Rock-carved Buddha Triad and the Fertility Stones. These artifacts, symbolizing the fusion of Buddhism and folk religion, highlights the ancient nature of the place.

Saekhyeon Tunnel (색현터널)

Gyeonggido Sangcheon-ri 1628-3, Cheongpyeong-myeon, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do Saekhyeon Tunnel, spanning 423 meters in length, was first opened in 1939 and functioned as part of the Gyeongchun Line railway up until 2010. After the railway line was rerouted, the tunnel found a new purpose as a section of the Bukhangang Bike Path. It has also earned the nickname "Moss Tunnel" due to the moss that has grown around its entrances. The tunnel, especially known for its distinctive round entrances, has become a favored location for photography enthusiasts.

Pyunggang Botanical Garden (평강식물원)

Gyeonggido 203, Umulmok-gil, Yeongbuk-myeon, Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do Located at the entrance of Sanjeonghosu Lake, Pyunggang Botanical Garden opened in May 2006, and was designated as a habitat for preservation by the Ministry of Environment in 2009. The garden has on exhibit both native plants and species of plants from around the globe. Additionally, the garden features an exquisite collection of over 1,000 different alpine plants that normally reside on an altitude of 2,500 meters. The scope of the garden is comprehensive, but it is divided into 12 themed areas, including a Rock Garden, where the largest alpine plants in Asia are concentrated; a Wetland Center, which mimics the natural ecology of a wetland region; a Pond Garden consisting of roughly 50 ponds lined with gorgeous flowers; a Moss Center where moss that grows in deep valleys and forests can be seen; and a Grass Square, which serves as a green common year round. The Pyunggang Botanical Garden, serves an important role in preserving rare plants, but is also creating a new botanical garden culture, and serving as a center for public ecological education.

Pyeongtaekho Art Park (평택호예술공원)

Gyeonggido 167 Pyeongtaekho-gil, Hyeondeok-myeon, Pyeongtaek-si, Gyeonggi-do Pyeongtaekho is a lake that flows to the western sea. Pyeongtaekho Art Park is located along side it. Sculptures are spread throughout the park, creating a pleasant atmosphere for visitors to stroll and enjoy the art. The Ji Young-hee Gugak Center and Haegum Bench have been built to commemorate Ji Young-hee's (1909-1980) achievements as a national intangible cultural heritage who pioneered the popularization and globalization of Korean traditional music. The Korea Soriter Arts Center has an outdoor performance hall and a library dedicated to traditional Korean music.

Puksuwon Spaplex (북수원온천)

Gyeonggido 2139 Seobu-ro, Jangan-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do Puksuwon Spaplex offers a relaxing escape for visitors with its spacious spa area and natural hot spring water. The facility uses alkaline water with a pH of 9.25. This mineral-rich spring water contains calcium, potassium, sulfuric acid, and iron, which are beneficial for relieving muscle pain, neuralgia, and skin conditions. Gyeonggido 69 Saeori-ro, Tanhyeon-myeon, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do Provence Village is a themed village that began with the opening of a chic French restaurant in 1996. It has expanded to include a famous bakery cafe, Italian and Korean restaurants, shops, colorful murals, a beautiful garden, and romantic lighting displays in the evenings. Each unique shop is connected to other shops in the village. An art studio offers a wide array of dishes used in cafes and restaurants in the village; the Living Gallery not only decorates Provence Village, but also makes decorative items such as hand-painted ceramics, available for purchase; and the European bakery boasts fresh, delicious breads. Each shop is an independent unit with a unique design concept. The Living Gallery offers shops selling ceramics, flowers, and herbs, while the Fashion Gallery consists of shops offering clothing, accessories, and interior design items. Several rows of liquor crock pots in Sewollang, the garden in Sansawon, create a magnificent view. Old materials and books about the history of Korea's liquor culture attract visitors. After touring the museum, visitors can try non-sterilized liquor of Baesangmyeon Brewery and join activity programs for making home-brewed liquor, fruit-based liquor, seasonal liquor, and more.

Pocheon Sanjeonghosu Lake (포천 산정호수)

Gyeonggido 104 Sanjeonghosu-ro 411beon-gil, Yeongbuk-myeon, Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do Sanjeonghosu Lake is surrounded by the Myeongseongsan and Gwaneumsan Mountains. Its name refers to its location, like a well ("jeong") deep within the mountains ("san"). The lake was originally built as a water source for agriculture. It is circled by a 3 kilometer-long trail, and there is a silver grass habitat in the middle of a hiking trail leading to the summit of Myeongseongsan Mountain. Family-friendly facilities like snow sledding slopes and hot springs can also be found. Nearby tourist sites include the Hantangang River, Herb Island, Art Valley, and the Korea National Arboretum.

Pocheon Idong Galbi Village (포천 이동갈비마을)

Gyeonggido 2078, Hwadong-ro, Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do Idong Galbi is a famous term for Koreans, representing the delicious hanu (Korean beef) short ribs that have been made with high quality meat and marinade. Nowadays, people can see signboards advertising Idong Galbi throughout Korea; however, the dish originated from Idong-myeon in Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do. Idong Galbi Village began with two stores in the early 1960s. They became famous and many more restaurants began to serve this local specialty.

Gyeonggido 234 Art valley-ro, Sinbuk-myeon, Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do The green waters of the lake and the sharply cut cliffs above make a picture-perfect landscape. This beautiful scenery, remnant of an old rock quarry, remained relatively unknown until the 1990s, with the opening of Pocheon Art Valley, an art & culture complex. An astronomical observatory opened in 2014, making Pocheon Art Valley a popular location for children's experience programs, on top of already being a popular date spot.

Petite France (쁘띠프랑스)

Gyeonggido 1063, Hoban-ro, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do Petite France is a French cultural village set in the Korean countryside. Designed with the theme concept, "flowers, stars, and the Little Prince," the village offers experience programs, training facilities, and accommodations. Additional attractions within the village include a memorial hall dedicated to Saint-Exupery, the author of the celebrated French novel, Le Petit Prince (1943); Orgel House where a 200-year-old music box plays a sweet melody; a French housing exhibition; a gallery displaying sculptures and paintings of le coq gaulois (the Gallic rooster), the national symbol of France; and many other galleries and shops to experience French culture. The training facility can accommodate up to 200 visitors in rooms that hold four to ten people each.
