Onggigol Ceramics (옹기골도예)

Onggi Ceramics is the workshop of Heo Jin-gyu, a master onggi craftsman, and is located in Onggi Village in Ulsan, home to the largest production of onggi in the nation. Visitors can browse the items as well as purchase anything that piques their interest. The workshop also offers a range of exerience programs related to onggi, although advanced reservations are required to participate.

Oegosan Onggi Village (외고산옹기마을)

Oegosan Onggi Village was established when earthenware master Heo Deok-man settled in the area in 1975. The village today showcases a massive collection of various earthenware products, which creates a unique sight. Over 50% of the country's earthenware products are crafted at this village. The village also features several attractions for visitors to enjoy, such as the Ulsan Onggi Museum, which houses the largest earthenware pottery recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records; and the annual Ulsan Onggi Festival, with many diverse activity programs.

Naewonam Hermitage (Ulsan) (내원암 (울산))

Naewonam Hermitage is located on Daeunsan Mountain in Ulsan. Daewonsa, the once head temple of this hermitage, was located at the entrance to the complex, but only the remains exist today. The valley around the hermitage is famous for its clean and clear waters. The 500-year-old nettle tree within the hermitage grounds catches the eye for resembling an elephant. An annual music concert performed by Buddhist monks from Ulsan City takes place at Naewonam Hermitage.

The National Center for Forest Therapy, Daeunsan is a forest-themed well-being facility designed to boost one's immunity and promote health by leveraging various elements of the forest, including landscapes and scents. Created in the beautiful Daeunsan Forest Valley, this forest therapy center features the Grass Scent Trail, Wind Therapy Trail, and Premium Forest Trail, where various forest therapy activities are offered.

Jangsaengpo Whale Watching Cruise (장생포 고래바다여행선)

Ulsan 244 Jangsaengpogorae-ro, Nam-gu, Ulsan Jangsaengpo Whale Watching Cruise is a whale tour boat operating from Jangsaengpo, Ulsan, once Korea's largest whaling port. The vessel features cabins, a performance stage, a convenience store, and a restaurant. There are courses available for whale exploration and coastal tours. Passengers can observe whales swimming along the coast of Jangsaengpo or visit attractions such as the Ulsandaegyo Bridge and the Ulsan Petrochemical Complex along the coast. Ganwolsan Recreation Forest (간월산 자연휴양림)

Ulsan 607-15 Deungeogalpeuseu-ro, Sangbuk-myeon, Ulju-gun, Ulsan Ganwolsan Recreation Forest is situated northeast of Ganwolsan Mountain, often referred to as the Alps of Korea. This picturesque recreational forest boasts dense pine forests, royal azaleas, maple trees, and pristine valleys. Accommodation facilities within the woods, a campfire site, thirty forest experience courses, a water playground, a forest park, and a sports field enhance the visitor experience. Following the hiking trails leads to observatory, and there are excellent walking paths for forest bathing. Nearby, the picturesque Jakcheonjeonggyegok Valley, famous for its cherry blossoms lane, awaits exploration.

Ganwolsan Mountain (간월산)

Ulsan 614, Ganwolsan-gil, Ulju-gun, Ulsan Ganwolsan Mountain is a popular destination for hikers in the Ulsan and Busan area as well as other regions of Gyeongsangnam-do. In early August, the reeds and lilies near the summit create a splendid view. To the west, the deep Naerijeong and Wangbonggol Valleys channel clean water to Baenaegol Pass. From the Ganwolgogae Pass, hikers can follow the Singal Path to Wanbonggol Pass towards Paraeso Falls. There, visitors will find a cave called Jungnimgul, which is sacred Catholic ground often visited by the Catholic faithful. The first church built by Catholics in the Yeongnam region to escape persecution is found in Buldanggol Pass in Ganwolsan Mountain area. The tomb of Kim Agatha who died in persecution is also in the Ganwolgol Valley.

The space features around 1,200 sculptures made from the iron (Fe) of recycled cars and motorcycles through five outdoor exhibitions with unique themes.
