Bukchon Hanok Village Gamgodang Street (북촌한옥마을 감고당길)
Seoul Anguk-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul An alley with cute cafes and galleriesThis is the road that appeared in the last episode and the flashback scene where Choi Ung (played by Choi Woosik) and Kuk Yeonsoo (played by Kim Dami) got drunk. Behind the Seoul Craft Museum in Bukchon Hanok Village, it extends for about 440m from Poongmoon Girls' High School to Jeongdok Library. There are many pretty cafes and galleries on the cozy road, and there are also craft markets open, so there is plenty to look around. The alley where Kuk Yeonsoo walked with the drunken Choi Ung on her back is Yunboseon Street in the middle of Gamgodang Street. It stretches along the hill between narrow tiled walls and stone walls, giving off a unique atmosphere.

Bukchon Hanok Village (북촌한옥마을)
Seoul 37 Gyedong-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul Surrounded by Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace and Jongmyo Shrine, Bukchon Hanok Village is home to hundreds of traditional houses, called hanok, that date back to the Joseon dynasty. The name Bukchon, which literally translates to "northern village," came about as the neighborhood lies north of two significant Seoul landmarks, Cheonggyecheon Stream and Jongno. Today, many of these hanoks operate as cultural centers, guesthouses, restaurants and tea houses, providing visitors with an opportunity to experience, learn and immerse themselves in traditional Korean culture. As Bukchon Hanok Village is an actual neighborhood with people's homes, visitors are advised to be respectful at all times while looking around. Traveler's Guide Why visit: Bukchon is a living hanok neighborhood — hundreds of traditional tiled-roof houses stacked along hillside lanes between Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung. People still live and work here, which is exactly what makes it different from a folk-village set: craft workshops, tiny galleries, and guesthouses occupy homes that have watched over Seoul for a century. Seek out the numbered "Eight Views of Bukchon" — the famous photo spot overlooking rooftops toward N Seoul Tower is View 5–6 around Gahoe-dong. Go early morning or on a weekday; the lanes are narrow and midday crowds change the mood entirely. This is a residential area — keep voices low and respect the quiet-street signs. Walk downhill into Samcheong-dong for cafes, or over to Insadong for tea houses and galleries. Good to know: Free to wander at any hour. Anguk Station (Line 3) is the gateway. Wear comfortable shoes — it is all gentle hills and stone steps.

Fountain shows run on a seasonal schedule (roughly April–October) with several performances an evening — confirm times before going. The east lawns opposite Sebitseom give the classic angle of fountain, bridge, and city lights together. Sebitseom's illuminated domes host cafes and restaurants if you want the view with a table. Cycle west to Yeouido or east toward Jamsil — Banpo is the scenic middle of the riverside bike route. Good to know: Express Bus Terminal Station (Lines 3/7/9) then a 10–15 minute walk through the underpass. The fountain pauses in winter and in high winds.
