Busan Area of 40gyedan-gil, Jungang-gu, Jung-gu, Busan The 40-step Culture & Tourism Theme Street is a 450-meter street leading up to the 40-step stairway of the '40-step Cultural Center' and continues to the Palseong Tour.The time-honored 40-step stairway embodies the joys and sorrows of refugees and those displaced by the Korean War. The entire area has been recently renovated to reflect life in Korea in the 50s & 60s.The 40-step Culture & Tourism Theme Street was designated 'The Best Street' by the Busan municipal government in June 2004.

Jeollanamdo 42-16 , Hyanggyo-gil, Naju-si, Jeollanam-do 3917 Majung is a Japanese- and Western-style hanok commonly seen in the late Korean Empire period, in Naju, Jeollanam-do, which combines a cafe, cultural space and hanok stay. The 3.2 acre site contains four buildings, with a mixture of ondol rooms, tatami rooms, daecheong floors and numaru lofts. Some buildings have bathrooms installed, some share outdoor bathrooms. All four buildings are let as private houses.

Gisamunhaebyeon Beach, right above the rest stop, is the place where a commemorative plaque was placed after the 38th parallel was first crossed during the Korean War. 24 Martial Arts Trial Performance (무예24기 시범공연)

Gyeonggido 825, Jeongjo-ro, Paldal-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do 24 Martials Arts (Muye 24-gi in Korean) refers to the 24 martial art techniques in the Muyedobotongji (Comprehensive Illustrated Manual of Martial Arts). The manual was compiled in 1790 by Confucian scholars Lee Deok-mu and Park Jae-ga, along with the martial arts expert Baek Dong-su, under the orders of King Jeongjo (22nd ruler of the Joseon dynasty). Regarded as a resource for understanding the nature of Korean military science, the manual is an exemplary martial arts compilation that was organized into 24 techniques by adopting the traditional martial arts of Joseon, as well as China and Japan. The 24 Martial Arts were practiced by the soldiers of the outer military unit of Jangyongyeong, the most elite military troop during the Joseon dynasty. Soldiers stationed at the northern and southern military camps of the Hwaseong Temporary Palace practiced these techniques to effectively guard the palace. It is considered as a significant intangible heritage because of its great historical, artistic, and athletic values. With the restoration of the temporary palace, a regular event is being held to demonstrate the 24 Martial Arts.
