Dutasan Mountain (두타산)
Gangwondo Duta-ro, Samcheok-si, Gangwon-do Standing at 1,357 meters above sea level, Dutasan Mountain is a major mountain amid the Taebaeksanmaek Mountain Range. It is especially known for Swinumjeong Pavilion, plunge basin, azalea trees, nut pines, and colorful fall foliage. Cheoneunsa Temple, where Lee Seung-Hyu resided during his exile, is located in the Samcheok region of the mountain. Lee was the author of Jewang Ungi, a historical poem written in the late Goryeo period. The name “Duta” is a Buddhist term that means "retiring from the world to go on a Buddhist retreat."

Dutasan Mountain (두타산)
Gangwondo 533, Samhwa-ro, Donghae-si, Gangwon-do & Samcheok-si, Jeongseon-gun Standing at 1,357 meters above sea level, Dutasan Mountain is surrounded by famous natural landmarks: Mureunggyegok Valley to the north, Gocheongyegok Valley to the east, Taebaeksan Mountain range to the south, and Jungbongsan Mountain to the west. Moreover, situated along the 3.1 kilometer-long valley connecting Dutasan and Samhwasa Temple are such tourist attractions as Dutasanseong Fortress, Geumnamjeong Pavilion, Yongchupokpo Falls, Ssangpokpo Falls, Osipcheon Stream, and Cheoneunsa Temple.

Duryunsan Provincial Park (두륜산도립공원)
Jeollanamdo 400, Daeheungsa-gil, Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do Containing many Buddhist temples and ruins as well as spectacular scenery, the 700 meter-tall Duryunsan Mountain is located at the southernmost point of the Korean peninsula. Forested by subtropical green broadleaf trees and temperate deciduous broadleaf trees, the mountain is valued highly for observing plant chorology. There are many fields of silver grass, and the summit of the park's eight peaks provide vistas of the western and southern sea. During the fifth year of King Jinheung's reign (514), the Buddhist monk Ado built Daedunsa Temple, which is a place of great historical value as it is also related to the Buddhist monk Seosan. The temple is built among dense woodlands, consisting of maple trees and camellias. Breathtaking scenery of valleys and luxuriant trees can be seen on both sides of the 2-kilometer-long road leading to the temple.

Duryunsan Cable Car (두륜산케이블카)
Jeollanamdo 88-45 Daeheungsa-gil, Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do Duryunsan Mountain (700 meters) is a famous mountain in Jeollanam-do. With its eight peaks, it is home to many temples and historic sites. The mountain also holds great importance in plant chorology as its forests consist of warm-temperate broad-leaved evergreens and deciduous broad-leaved trees. The mountain peak can be reached by trekking for about 2-3 hours from the entrance of Daeheungsa Temple or by the Daeryunsan Cable Car (one way 8-minute), which departs from the entrance on the opposite side of the mountain and takes visitors to a spot right below the peak. From the mountain summit, there is a view of the southern sea and on a clear day, it is possible to see as far as Hallasan Mountain on Jeju Island. Nearby tourist attractions include Uhangri Dinosaur Museum Complex, Usuyeong Tourism Village and Ttangkkeut Village.

Dumo Village (두모마을)
Gyeongsangnamdo 18, Yanga-ro 533beon-gil, Namhae-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do Dumo Village was designated a Green Agriculture Experience Village in 2005. The stream flowing through the village has high-quality water and is home to sweetfish, mitten crab, and freshwater eel. Visitors to the village can enjoy both farming and marine experiences, making it a popular destination for families. The villagers welcome visitors warmheartedly, creating an atmosphere of returning home after a long time away. The village name comes from the way it seems to hug the ocean, like a large hangari (clay pot).

Duamchodang Hermitage (두암초당)
Jeollabukdo 88 Yeongmojeong-gil, Asan-myeon, Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk-do Duamchodang Hermitage is a small hanok building located right next to the cliff face of Byeongbawi Rock. The location and age of this building give off a unique atmosphere, being quite old and in a hard-to-reach place. While there is a hiking trail to the hermitage, there is no parking near the trailhead, making it a bit difficult to reach.

Dream Forest (북서울 꿈의숲)
Seoul 173 Wolgye-ro, Gangbuk-gu, Seoul Dream Forest, previously known as Odong Neighborhood Park, is located in Gangbuk-gu, Seoul. The park is surrounded by cherry blossom trees, and the northern section is filled with maple trees, making the park especially attractive in spring and fall. The Changnyeongwigung Ritual House (Registered Cultural Heritage) has been restored with traditional landscaping such as a pond, pavilion and waterfall created nearby to double the genuine beauty of a traditional Korean park. Major attractions of the park include Wolyeongji Pond, Grass Square, Wolgwangpokpo Falls, Aewoljeong Pavilion, Chilbokji Falls, Event Garden, Children’s Gallery, Wild Grass Garden, Deer Ranch, Exploring Path, Forest Rest, and a water park. The slanted hillside which served as sledding slopes is now a complex cultural space with Buk-Seoul Art Center that houses a fantastic-looking observatory, performance hall, book café, gallery, restaurant, jumping fountain, and children’s playground.

Dragon Statue and Tiger Statue in Cheonnae-ri, Geumsan (금산 천…
Chungcheongnamdo Cheonnae-ri, Jewon-myeon, Geumsan-gun, Chungcheongnam-do The Dragon Statue and Tiger Statue in Cheonnae-ri, Geumsan are located about 100 meters apart next to a stream. The two stone statues show intricate carvings of a dragon complete with horns and antlers, and a tiger standing up on his hind legs respectively. The statues are believed to have been made during the late Goryeo period.

Dotoreum Parasitic Cone (돛오름(돝오름))
Jejudo San 3, Songdang-ri, Gujwa-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju-do This oreum, or parasitic cone, is located southwest of Bijarim Forest. Its name “Dot” comes from the Jeju dialect for pig, as the shape of the peak is said to resemble a pig. Dotoreum Parasitic Cone is home to a wide variety of trees and plants, but among them, it is most well-known for its bija trees. However, paths in this parasitic cone tend to be rather narrow and rugged, so one must prepare accordingly in order to climb the hill without much trouble. Visitors are advised to prepare comfortable shoes and water at the very least.

Dosun Dawon Tea Plantation (도순다원)
Jejudo 152-41, Jungsanganseo-ro 356beon-gil, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do Dosun Dawon Tea Plantation is Korea's first tea plantation to build and operate a modern tea-manufacturing factory. The plantation is an eco-tourism destination that aims to contribute in reducing carbon dioxide and improve the local economy through green tea production. Despite the large field that covers an area of approx. 264,400 ㎡, Dosun Dawon Tea Plantation is not very well known among tourists. However, the plantation is frequented by photographers who visit to take snapshots of the vast field against the backdrop of Hallasan Mountain or Jeju's beautiful ocean.

Dosolgyegok Valley (Seonunsan Mountain) (도솔계곡 (선운산))
Jeollabukdo 250, Seonunsa-ro, Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk-do Dosolgyegok Valley is located in Seonunsan Mountain in the Gochang-gun district. Seonunsan Mountain, which is also called Dosolsan Mountain, is known for its thick forests and intriguing rock formations. Along the valley, there are many interesting sites such as Jinheungdonggul Cave, Yongmundonggul Cave, Nakjodae Overlook, and Cheonma peak. Dosolgyegok Valley is also famous for being very deep, where the mountain and water fight each other and whirl around in a yin & yang shape. The green forests in summer cover the valley beautifully, and the red leaves and white snow decorate the area in fall and winter.

Dosanseowon Confucian Academy [UNESCO World Heritage] (도산서원 …
Gyeongsangbukdo 154 Dosanseowon-gil, Andong-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do In terms of architecture, Dosanseowon Confucian Academy complex can largely be divided into Dosanseodang compound and Dosanseowon compound. Dosanseodang area consists of living quarters and lecture halls where Toegye Yi Hwang, an eminent Confucian scholar, lived and taught his students. Dosanseowon was built after Toegye Yi Hwang passed away by his followers' to honor the legacy of his teachings as well as to pay respects to the deceased.Built in 1561, Dosanseodang lecture hall is the oldest building in the whole complex. It was personally designed by Yi Hwang, penname Toegye, to further his studies while educating future scholars after moving to the countryside. Living quarters used as a student dormitory were also built along with the lecture hall.Dosanseowon compound was completed in 1576, six years after Yi Hwang's death. Yi Hwang's ancestral tablet was enshrined inside Sangdeoksa Shrine in 1572. Two years later, Jeongyodang Lecture Hall was built to relocate the tablet and with the addition of buildings to the hall's east and west, the area became a seowon. In 1575, the establishment was bestowed a royal charter and a plaque with the name Dosanseowon written by Han Seok-bong, and became the Confucian academy headquarters in the Yeongnam region.◎ Travel information to meet Hallyu’s charm - variety show"I Am Solo"This is where participants were dressed in hanbok and matched with a partner based solely on the color of their clothes, regardless of their will. Dosan Park (도산공원)
Seoul 20, Dosan-daero 45-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul Located in Sinsa-dong, Seoul, Dosan Park, a neighborhood park, was built in 1973 to pay tribute to Dosan Ahn Chang-ho’s patriotism. Dosan Ahn Chang-ho’s tomb was moved here from Manguri Public Cemetery as well as his wife, Lee Hyeryen, whose tomb was moved from Los Angeles. The tribute was extended by naming the boulevard from Cheongdam-dong to Nonhyeon-dong, as Dosan-daero. Visitors can find a bronze statue, monument with quotations, epitaph headstone and more within the park. Commemoration event is held on March 10th of every year.
