Napory Farm in Tongyeong (통영 나폴리농원)

Gyeongsangnamdo 152 Mireuksan-gil, Sanyang-eup, Tongyeong-si, Gyeongsangnam-do Napory Farm in Tongyeong is surrounded by the Hinoki cypress forest on the hillside of Mireuksan Mountain within Hallyeohaesang National Park. Opened in 2005, this healing tourist destination offers various activities related to Hinoki cypress trees and phytoncides. The farm's signature program is the 'Barefoot Healing Walk in the Hinoki Cypress Forest,' where visitors walk barefoot on the trail while surrounded by the phytoncide-filled forest.In this phytoncide-rich forest, you can join barefoot walking programs or guided forest group tours while enjoying the beautiful natural landscapes. The 'healing' farm features an 'Air Cafe,' where you can drink pour-over coffee while enjoying the fresh air; a hammock resting area; a lawn lying experience; a tropical greenhouse featuring succulents; and a foot bath area. The farm was chosen by the Korea Tourism Organization as a wellness travel destination. You can purchase phytoncide products and Hinoki cypress saplings researched and developed by the farm.It takes approximately 1.5 hours to look around and experience the farm. This is a place recommended to tourists who want to experience 'healing' moments in nature, away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Jangyu Daecheonggyegok Valley (장유대청계곡)

Gyeongsangnamdo Wolsan-ro, Gimhae-si, Gyeongsangnam-do The 6-kilometer-long Jangyu Daecheonggyegok Valley is located at the foot of Bulmosan Mountain, where the water flowing into the valley divides into two principal streams. Lush trees and clean water make up the area’s beautiful natural landscape. A 30-minute hike along the valley will take hikers to Jangyuam Hermitage where they will find the stupa of Jangyuhwasang, who is said to have spread Buddhism for the first time in Korea. Visitors flock to Jangyu Daecheonggyegok Valley not only to enjoy the scenery, but also to taste the delicious duck, chicken, and baeksuk (chicken soup with rice) dishes sold around the area. In 1984, the valley was integrated into Jangyupokpo Recreational Park where bridges were built and water supply facilities were placed at two locations. Sangjeolgyo Bridge at the entrance to the valley is 30 meters, while Bonpogyo Bridge is 4 meters. A 1,720 meter-long forest trail was also created. The rugged mountain terrain offers a challenging, yet highly interesting climb up the mountain.

Jangsado Sea Park (장사도해상공원)

Gyeongsangnamdo 55 Jangsado-gil, Hansan-myeon, Tongyeong-si, Gyeongsangnam-do Jangsado Sea Park, located approximately 21km (about 50 minutes) from Donam Port in Tongyeong, is an island within the Hallyeohaesang National Park, boasting over 100,000 camellia and silver magnolia along with natural monuments like the fairy pitta, sickle neofinetia, and seongnan orchids. Resembling a silkworm with a width of 400m and a length of 1.9km, it was formerly known as Jangsado Island, and it was called as 'Jamsado' in that time. The island features attractions such as the Camellia Tunnel Trail, Maze Garden, Herb Garden, Rainbow Bridge, and Seungni Observatory.

It is home to Jangsado Sea Park that features twenty themed gardens, including a Camellia Tunnel Trail, a Maze Garden, and a Herb Garden. The park also has various amenities like an Outdoor Stage and an Outdoor Gallery. From observatories scattered throughout the park, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the Namhae Sea. Jangsado Sea Park, also known as Camellia, is just a ten-minute boat ride from Geunpo Port in Geoje.

Jangboksan Sculpture Park (장복산조각공원)

Ipgok County Park (입곡군립공원)

Gyeongsangnamdo Ipgokgongwon-gil, Haman-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do Ipgok County Park was once a reservoir used for agricultural water during the Japanese colonization period. Near the reservoir, a dense pine tree forest can be seen along the steep cliff and a trekking path winds through the forest. In spring, cherry blossoms provide picturesque scenery in the vicinity of the area and azaleas bloom on the ridges and cliffs as well. A sports field equipped with stands is located in the upper area. The reservoir boasts a grand size with a 4-kilometer circumference making it the largest reservoir in Haman. However, it is shaped like a snake, making it impossible to see the starting and ending points at the same time. It is well-known as a relaxing vacation spot among local families.

Hongryudonggyegok Valley (홍류동계곡)

Gyeongsangnamdo 1502-9, Gayasan-ro, Gaya-myeon, Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do The 4 km valley between the entrance of Gayasan Mountain National Park entrance and Haeinsa Temple is called Hongryudonggyegok Valley. It was named so because the leaves turn so crimson that the water of the valley reflects the color and appears crimson as well. This is the place where Chi-Won Choe, after returning from Dang China to Silla (BC 57-AD 935) found Korea in disarray. It was too much to bear for him so he retired to live privately with poetry until his death. There are 19 famous places in Hongryudonggyegok Valley, including major cultural assets like Jongsangjeong Pavilion, Nakhwadam, and Bunokpok. The scenery of Nongsanjeong Pavilion, where Chi-Won Choe read poetry and played baduk, is especially beautiful. On the opposite side is a rock where you can see the handwring of Chi-Won Choe. The Yongmunpokpo Falls, located on the north end of the valley, has beautiful scenery with its harmonious blend of falling water and Giamgoiseok (fantastic rocks and stones). The scenery of Hongryudonggyegok Valley changes every season, and it is the finest part of Gayasan Mountain. It is famous for the azaleas in full bloom during the spring, and for the thousand-year-old pine trees and broad-leaved trees growing thickly throughout the valley and the cool, clear water that runs through it during the summer. In the fall, the nearby pine tree forests and broad-leaved trees tinge in color and accentuate the crimson foliage of autumnal leaves, making the crimson reflection of the leaves in the valley water look like a rising flame, and shows why the valley was named Hongryudonggyegok Valley.

Hobaksogyegok Valley (호박소계곡)

Gyeongsangnamdo 334-1, Eoreumgol-ro, Miryang-si, Gyeongsangnam-do Hobaksogyegok Valley is located within Gajisan Mountain approximately 3 kilometers away from Eoreumgol Valley in Jaeyaksan Mountain, where the water originates. The valley offers beautiful surroundings and clear water developed over the years. Hobakso Pond, shape like a grain-grinding tool, is located at the base of a 10-meter-high waterfall. With a circumference of 30 meters, the pond is also called Sirye Hobakso Pond, Guyeongpokpo Falls, and Baengnyeonpokpo Falls. In the past, the pond was a spiritual place where people would pray for rain. Surrounded by white granite rocks, the area is a scenic place of natural beauty, free from pollution. Visitors can also look around nearby Baengnyeonsa Temple, Hyeongjeso Pond and Ocheonpyeong Rock.
