Cheongpung Land (청풍랜드)
Chungcheongbukdo San 26, Gyo-ri, Cheongpung-myeon, Jecheon-si, Chungcheongbuk-do Cheongpung Land est un parc de loisir créé en 2002 près du lac de Cheongpunghoban (lac de Chungjuho à Cheongpung-myeon, Jecheon-si dans la province du Chungcheongbuk-do. Le parc accueille trois attractions pleines de sentations fortes : une tour de saut à l’élastique haute de 62 mètres, le tout premier siège éjectable de Corée et « Big Swing », une expérience à gravité nulle. On peut également y admirer des geysers d’eau jaillissant à 162 mètres dans l’air, ainsi qu’une vue panoramique sur le paysage environnant. Le parc est l’une des plus grandes attractions touristiques de la région, et se trouve non loin d’autres destinations populaires, comme le site de tournage du drama historique de KBS « Daejo Wangeon », le mont Geumsusan et le parc national de la montagne Woraksan.

Cheongdohyanggyo Local Confucian School (청도향교)
Gyeongsangbukdo 36 Donggyo-gil, Hwayang-eup, Cheongdo-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do Hyanggyo Local Confucian Schools were government-run provincial schools established separately during Korea's Goryeo and Joseon periods. It was a place for achieving success in government or for holding ancestral rites. Cheongdohyanggyo Local Confucian School was first built in 1568 in the middle of the Joseon dynasty and has been relocated twice. This location is known as the burial place for Toegye Yi Hwang, the face of Korea's 1,000 won note and a historical figure who established Confucianism in Korea. One can see the shape of a tile-roofed hanok, and flowers and trees surround it, making it a nice place to stroll.

Cheongpung Cultural Heritage Complex (청풍문화재단지)
Chungcheongbukdo 2048, Cheongpungho-ro, Jecheon-si, Chungcheongbuk-do Cheongpung Cultural Heritage Complex in Jecheon, Chungcheongbuk-do contains a variety of cultural heritages and artifacts that were collected from the region before it was flooded in 1985 during the construction of Chungju Dam. Here, visitors can see Hanbyeongnu Pavilion (Treasure), Stone Standing Buddha (Treasure), Paryeongnu Pavilion, Geumnamnu Pavilion, Geumbyeongheon Hall, Eungcheonggak Pavilion and the Cheongpunghyanggyo Local Confucian School as well as nearly 2,000 household artifacts. It has become an outdoor museum of the glorious culture of the upper reaches of the Namhangang River.

Cheongdoeupseong Walled Town (청도읍성)
Gyeongsangbukdo 48-1 Dongsang-ri, Hwayang-eup, Cheongdo-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do The walled town was built during the Goryeo dynasty and has endured through the Joseon dynasty and to the present. The walled town was destroyed during a war in the mid-Joseon dynasty and demolished under Japanese colonial rule, but it was restored and reconstructed to what visitors see now. Its long walls on flat land are beautiful, and it is a popular walking trail for locals and travelers in the late spring and late summer. Regardless of gender or age, anyone can walk comfortably and easily on the smooth trail while enjoying the beauty of each season.In addition, visitors can have a cup of coffee at many unique cafes around the walled town while admiring the view of the walls.

Cheongpung Cable Car (청풍호반케이블카)
Chungcheongbukdo 166 Munhwajae-gil, Jecheon-si, Chungcheongbuk-do Cheongpung Cable Car takes passengers back and forth between Multae-ri in Cheongpung-myeon and Bibongsan Mountain along a 2.3-kilometer ropeway. There are a total of 43 cabins that accommodate up to 10 passengers per car, with ten cabins featuring transparent flooring to offer a thrilling bird's-eye-view of Cheongpung-myeon. The cable car can reach a maximum speed of 5 meters per second and takes around 10 minutes from the departure point to Bibongsan Mountain peak. Bibongsan Mountain sits at the center of Cheongpungho Lake and has an elevation of 531 meters. The sight from top offers a feeling as if one is looking down at an archipelago. The cable car allows children and the elderly to enjoy the sight without the hassle of hiking up to the summit.

Cheongdo Stone Ice Storage (청도 석빙고)
Gyeongsangbukdo 119-3 Dongsang-ri, Hwayang-eup, Cheongdo-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do Stone ice storage was a type of building used to store ice in the past. Some of them are preserved today in Korea, including Gyeongju, Andong, and Cheongdo in the Gyeongsang-do area. The Cheongdo Stone Ice Storage was constructed during the Joseon dynasty, and now just part of the ceiling remains, allowing visitors to see inside. As a building used to store ice, it was built in the form of a warehouse dug into the ground. While looking around and observing the interior is possible, visitors may not enter the icehouse for safety reasons. At night, there are lights on around the ice storage, which makes viewing possible at anytime. It is located across from Cheongdoeupseong Walled Town, making it a good stop when visiting.

Cheongdo Provence (청도 프로방스)

Cheongpodae Beach (청포대해수욕장)

Cheongdo Namsan Valley (청도 남산계곡)

At the entrance to the valley, you'll encounter the Cheongdo Stone Ice Storage, a historical gem and the oldest stone ice storage facility in Korea. Strolling further along the valley, you'll find lines of intriguing rocks, carved with poems, including Chwiam and Ungeumcheon. These natural landmarks served as gathering spots for Seonbi, scholars from the Goryeo and Joseon periods, who came here to revel in the beauty of nature and craft spontaneous poems, fostering a deep appreciation for the arts.

Cheongoksan National Recreational Forest (국립 청옥산자연휴양림)
Gyeongsangbukdo 1552-163, Cheongok-ro, Bonghwa-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do Cheongoksan National Recreational Forest is located in Bonghwa-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do. The forest is composed of 100-year-old white pine trees brimming with pine nuts, along with pines and larches. In the forest, you can see the trees standing tall amidst the majestic rock formations. If you walk along the mountain trail, you will come to a suspension bridge, and after crossing, you will enter a section of forest that has maintained an old, almost primeval, feeling. In spring, beautiful wild flowers blossom throughout the forest, magnolias in particular, bloom within the valley. Cheongoksan National Recreational Forest features a variety of facilities such as a nearby water park, children’s playground, fitness center, campsite and an outdoor lecture field. The water in the water park is cold and very clean, using natural stream water. In nearby Baekcheongyegok Valley, you may also see Manchurian trout, which live in clean, fresh water streams. Hyeonbulsa Temple is also located in the valley.

Cheongoksan Mountain (Bonghwa) (청옥산(봉화))
Gyeongsangbukdo Daehyun-ri, Seokpo-myeon, Bonghwa-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do Cheongoksan Mountain, towering 1,277 meters above sea level, stands southeast of Mangyeongdae Observatory atop Taebaeksan Mountain. The entire mountain area is designated as a national recreational forest. As the largest of its kind in Korea, it offers an array of facilities including a water playground, fitness station, and campground. Midway up the moutain, visitors can discover Hongjesa Temple and marvel at Goseon Valley, where a 40km-long stream gracefully skirts the mountain. Nearby attractions include Hyeonbulsa Temple, known for its Pagoda to the Fallen Patriots, Bulyoungsa Temple, Cheongnyangsan Mountain, and Samijeong Pavillion.

Cheongdo Hanok School (청도한옥학교)
Gyeongsangbukdo 156, Yangjeong-gil, Cheongdo-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do Located on the slopes of Namsan Mountain, the Cheongdo Hanok School is an educational center for carpenters who specialize in hanok (traditional Korean architecture). Hanok buildings hold cultural and historical values and the school has been gaining in popularity not only among carpenters, but also those who are interested in enjoying and upholding Korea's proud architectural history. The entrance of the school is marked with a large traditional "Neowa" (a house roofed with thick, unfinished shingles of pine) that immediately catches the eye. The school provides three types of courses. There is a basic carpentry course to teach people how to make wooden objects and structures, a course to nurture professional carpenters, and a course to teach carpenters how to build Hanok. The school’s hands-on programs offer visitors a chance to make a traditional Korean window and to saw and plane wood. There are cultural programs for children as well. Children, along with their parents, can make rice cake by pounding rice with a large hammer, bake sweet potatoes, or join a seminar on traditional Korean houses. The cultural programs change with each season.

Cheongok Golden Bat Cave (천곡황금박쥐동굴)
Gangwondo 50, Donggul-ro, Donghae-si, Gangwon-do Cheongok Golden Bat Cave in Donghae is the only natural cave in Korea located in a downtown area. Estimated to have been created 400 to 500 million years ago, the cave is known to serve as a habitat for the endangered golden bats. The cave's total length stretches for 1,510 meters, with only 810 meters of the cave open the public while the rest of cave remains protected for preservation purposes. The cave features ceiling craters, one of which is the longest in Korea, along with stalactite curtains, travertine terraces, stalactite cascades, and many other fantastic rock formations. The cave's unique features provide a grand spectacle for tourists and great speleological samples for researchers. A 785-meter walkway was made using the sinkhole created by dissolved limestone to help visitors get a better understanding of cave formations.

Cheongdam Park (청담공원)
Seoul 26, Yeongdong-daero 131-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul Up until the early 1960's, people would cross the Hangang River from Ttukseom Ferry Dock and arrive in Cheongdam-dong. Although highly developed, Cheongdam Park remains as a soothing natural oasis that is relatively untouched by city pollution. Following the trail, there is a small exercise area and playground. The park is quite crowded in the morning with people exercising. The tightly woven trees in the park offers a resting place to enjoy fresh air. The park size is 59,347 ㎡.

Cheongnyongsa Temple Site (청룡사지)
Chungcheongbukdo 147, Cheongnyongsaji-gil, Chungju-si, Chungcheongbuk-do In the late Goryeo era, King Taejo ordered to build a large temple at the foot of Cheonggyesan Mountain for Preceptor Bogak to retire to hermitage. Now, the temple site has become a ruin, with only the Stupa of State Preceptor Bogak, called Jeonghyewonyung, lion stone lantern, and stele for Jeonghyewonyung at the site. Cheongnyongsa Temple, recently built, is also situated in the vicinity of the area along with other Buddhist cultural assets.

Cheongdam Fashion Street (청담패션거리)
Seoul Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul-si The street from the Cheongdam Station intersection to Galleria Department Store is lined with luxury brand stores and dubbed as “Cheongdam Fashion Street." Often frequented by celebrities, the area became a popular tourist destination for hallyu fans.
